BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. -

No one was injured but a tractor was destroyed after a fire at the Hart Tie & Lumber Company on Winnebago Avenue on Monday morning, according to the Black River Falls Fire Department.

When firefighters arrived on scene at about 7 a.m., the tractor, which is valued at $3,500 was fully engulfed in flames.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire, which the department says took six firefighters 40 minutes to knock down.

At about 9:30 a.m., firefighters were called back to the Hart Tie & Lumber Company for a fire in the sawdust shaving bin. Black River Falls Fire Chief Steve Schreiber says the employees had off-loaded sawdust shaving from a wagon that had been attached to the tractor from the earlier fire and thought they saw smoke coming from the metal bin.

Chief Schreiber says firefighters checked the bin with a thermo imaging camera, but they did not find a fire. Crews stayed on scene for an hour.
