FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -

A Campbellsport woman has been sentenced to a year in jail for a crash that killed three of her friends in February.

Carly Ottery, 19, was sentenced in Fond du Lac County Monday. Prosecutors say she was driving more than 100 mph when she lost control of an SUV filled with friends from Campbellsport High School.

Fifteen-year-old Sabrina Stahl, 16-year-old Katie Berg and 17-year-old Caitlin Scannell were killed.

In July, Ottery pleaded no contest to three counts of homicide by negligent use of a vehicle.

WLUK-TV reports a special prosecutor recommended five years probation, but a judge sentenced Ottery to the jail time as well as five years probation after she is released. She also will have to perform 100 hours of community service during each year of probation.
