People finding shelter from the elements Tuesday at the Salvation Army got a musical treat
The band "Truth in Spirits" played for the crowd.
The Salvation Army says the cold weather and school being cancelled brought a larger crowd into the warming shelter.
They were hoping some live music would help people who were getting a little stir crazy. "People are just really excited for something a little different, it's nice to give them a little bit of a break. We're really heavily focused on looking for work, finding employment, finding housing, so it's nice to give people the opportunity just to kick back and relax for a few hours," said Kelley Bundy from the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army Shelter in La Crosse is open seven days a week.
