Students have been retested at a Davenport school where officials are investigating possible cheating earlier this year.
The Quad-City Times reports students at Madison Elementary School took tests again Monday and Tuesday, and those new assessments could be sent for scoring as early as Friday.
The new testing came nearly a week after Davenport school officials announced they had found an unusually high number of wrong-to-right erasures among tests given to third through fifth graders.
The district began investigating the matter in late February.
Superintendent Art Tate says officials have interviewed more than 30 people at Madison, but it remains unclear who altered the tests.
