Twice a week I like to run in Hixon Forest and ended catching the sunset at the perfect moment. I was among 20 other hikers at the peak near dusk.
I love taking the long way home on our many beautiful area country roads. Saw this opening on Scenic Hwy 1 in La Crescent and captured my favorite time of day.
This poor scare crow was caught off guard by this snow storm but he still had a smile on his face.

My son to my granddaughter, Cecilia, to see if the Mississippi Queen was docked. It was there in all it's foggy splendor. Looks kind of spooky. She was very excited to see it.
It's a nice sunny day at our house, but it is a bit foggy in the valley!!
Sunday we had a very red sunrise but more unusual was the west. I believe that this must be some trick of the reddish light as uur trees have not turned
